Description
Demonstrate experience with the direct execution of major acquisition efforts involving concept studies. Oversee assignments involving analysis, preliminary production, planning, requirements definition, traceability, and evaluation of one or more alternative technical approaches and associated costs for creating or upgrading the performance of a system or activity. Supervise systems engineering technical efforts and perform typical associated tasks, including requirements analysis, business process analysis, trade-off analysis, facilitating user sessions, feasibility studies, technology conceptual designs, and other special studies and analyses. Apply an enterprise-wide set of disciplines and processes for planning, analyzing, designing, constructing, and implementing information engineering for complex systems.QualificationsBasic Qualifications: -8+ years of experience with systems engineering processes -7 years of experience with full life cycle systems engineering -5+ years of experience with project management -Experience with the DoD community specific to C2 Architectures and systems -Experience with system-unique technical, data, and interface standards -Experience with the business development life cycle, including marketing, proposals, and delivery -Experience with government or commercial consulting -Experience with performing analytical tasks for software or systems development projects -Experience with concept development and requirements analysis -Knowledge of operations research and modeling and simulation -Knowledge of process modeling and facilitation methods -Ability to lead administrative, project, and client-focused teams of 4+ staff -Secret clearance required -BA or BS degree required Additional Qualifications: -2+ years of experience in working with C2 Systems -Experience with working in the Air Combat Command, Airborne Networks -Experience with DoD and military operational schemes -Experience with the US Air Force Air Combat Command and Combat Air Force -Experience with strategic plans and the way network capabilities are acquired and employed -Experience with project and program management -Experience with command and control systems -Experience with the military Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
